When I first heard of these tool trays I knew they were a must for me. I have had problems keeping my yardsticks in place over the years and never really have taken the time to figure out a way to keep them where they needed to be.
Gwen Bagget has come up with a solution for this by making a tray that holds not only those straps but also a nice platform to put our machine necessities. I received mine on Monday and I will say that I'm quite impressed. For those of you with batting accesses, these trays go up and down without a hitch. I can advance my quilt and do just about anything else without disturbing the contents on the tray. Okay I haven't set a cup of liquid on it yet LOL!!!.
The straps were what attracted me to this set-up. The straps remain close to the quilt when I'm advancing or using my batting access. No more dropping yardsticks on the floor and so on.
She did customize another bar to go on the other side of my machine that only holds the straps without the tray. This also works beautifully.
I'm not affiliated with her and for those that know me I only praise things that I really, really love on here.

I have been honored to test out the Snugglers Cove Tool Trays on my the last couple of weeks. I guess I'm like an old dog in that I didn't really see the need to learn a new trick! Yet, I have found that they are VERY valuable and I REALLY like them.
I have two, one is 39" long and one is 36" long. I like the longer length for the Classic set up and I'm sure it would be necessary for the Optimum. I place my straps over the trays instead of under, as is shown for the A-1 setup. Works like a charm. They are angled a little due to the belly bar set-up, but I find that it is not a problem. One of the trays has a removable divider to section off the tray. But, I have not had anything roll away, not even my seam ripper.
This works so much better than my yard sticks! I can have tools that I need, pins, scissors, wound bobbins, extra threads, seam ripper, lint brush, templates and rulers all handy and within reach. I have a table behind me, but found that these trays save so much time and energy. I guess this old dog CAN learn new tricks! I won't be without them now!
Well Done, Gwen & Michael! This is a high quality product that !

I just received one of these for my Gam classic and I love it!! Peter had
previously made me 'sticks' for holding up the clamp straps, but they didn't
do anything else! Like Marilyn, I feel it's great to have all my 'stuff' so
close at hand!!
Thanks!!! kathy olson, Texas

Oh, and one other item that I can't recommend highly enough ... the beautiful Tool Trays by Snugglers Cove Quilting. I bought two, in order to have one at each end of the machine. I don't know what I ever did without them.

My trays (2) arrived while out of town last week. I got a chance yesterday to get them out of the box and ready for use. They are great for holding all the stuff out of your way. The hooks that 'mind' your clamps is great! What a smart idea combining them with the tool tray.
Thanks Gwen...longarm quilters are soooo smart :-)
