Combination Tool Tray & Clamp Support

(ordering information at bottom of page)

INTRODUCING: Tool Trays. These innovative trays are one of the most useful longarm accessories you can buy. They not only keep all of your most-used tools within easy reach, but they also solve the problem of running into your clamps with the base of your machine! Use your trays to hold pins, a timer, a cup filled with various markers, templates you are currently using, screwdrivers, seam ripper, spritz bottle, tape measures and rulers, machine oil, bobbin tray, all threads for the current quilt, "Sewer's Aid," and lint brush. Why not put a tray at each end of your table and you'll soon find that you don't want to quilt without them. And by supporting your clamp straps, you will no longer have those bobbled lines by unexpectedly running into your clamps!

Below is a detailed list of features of the Tool Trays and Clamp Supports

 1.  Clamp straps are supported away from your extended base with hangers that can be inserted at 3" intervals along the length of the tray, adapting for the most convenient placement of your clamps. Many have tried both yard sticks and curtain rods, but they have their problems. Once you use these supports, you will never look back. (Gammill owners will not use the hangers, but rather place their straps itself.)

 2.  On the underside of the tray are four guide posts. These prevent the tray from rolling off the frame when advancing the quilt or raising the front roller for batting access.

 3.  Since the trays need no "installation," they can easily be slid as near the quilt as desired or placed at the end of your frame. If your quilt extends all the way to the end of your frame, the trays can be easily lifted off and placed out of the way.

 4.  The bottom of each tray is made of Lexan, which allows for total visibility underneath your tray and enhances the feeling of openness and less clutter. (This is the same material used for jet windshields and is nearly indestructible, but as clear as glass!)

 5.  To aid in organization, each Tool Tray comes with two dividers---one stationary and one floating.

 6. Each tray is made of hardwood with a beautiful, fine finish. Choose from oak, a light hardwood (maple or birch), or ask for hardwood of your choice, which will take a little longer to deliver.

 7. The Tool Trays can be used with any brand of longarm machine, but please indicate when ordering if you have a Gammill or a short-arm machine.

Overall dimensions are approximately 1.5" x 9" x 36". Custom sizes are available, including longer trays for the larger tables. Shorter trays are available for short-arm machines.
